Admission to Integrated M.Sc. Courses
This programme is being offered in four streams namely, Systems Biology, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematical Sciences. There will be common core courses in the first two years for all the streams. As the programme has a flexibility, you have a freedom to change from one stream to the other before you complete the first two years subject to certain availability conditions in the other streams.
Eligibility
For applying for the Integrated M.Sc Courses, a candidate should possess First Class with a minimum of 60% marks at +2 level of education (Intermediate/CBSE/ICSE/HSC or equivalent)
The admission to the Integrated M.Sc. courses will be through a written entrance examination.
The programme is aimed not only to give a broad-based education but also prepares candidates for positions in research and development both in Universities and Industries. Whilst making admissions the University will attempt to make as balanced an admission as possible amongst those who give their first preference for each of Physics, Chemistry, Systems Biology or Mathematical Sciences (Mathematics/Statistics-Operations Research/ Computer Science).
